 Agra is famous as being home to one of the seven wonders of the world-the Taj Mahal. Built in the later sixteenth century, the Agra Fort is an important historic monuments constructed by Mughals. Grand and spectacular Fatehpur Sikri is an imperial capital built by most famous Mughal emperor Akbar, in the hill of Sikri which is just 40 km west of Agra. The Fatehpur Sikri is said to be the abode place of saint Salim. |
