Agatti Island is a small 7 kilometer long island, situated about 459 kilometers off the Kochi Coast.It is a part of the Lakshadweep Islands and called called the gateway of Lakshadweep.Coral growths and multi coloured coral fishes are abound in its lagoons.Agatti has been identified as the first marine community reserve based on 'Coral reef monitoring surveys.Major Tourist attractions are Golden Jubilee Museum,Mohiyudeen Mosque and blue lagoon.
